"I'm incredibly excited to join Ackerman Group and bring my wealth of knowledge and experience to conversations with veterinary practice owners," Redman expressed in a company release.1

Redman has significant leadership experience in veterinary medicine, animal health, and corporate acquisitions. He has been appointed and served under 3 Ohio Governors to the Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board and was elected to the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association Board of Directors. Additionally, he was the 2019-2020 President of the American Association of Veterinary State Boards, which manages regulation and licensing of veterinarians and veterinary technicians in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands.1

Prior to Ackerman Group, Roger worked as a partnership development specialist and director in partnership development throughout his nearly 4-year tenure at Encore Vet Group. He also has been an owner and president of 3 Ohio-based veterinary clinics. Redman achieved his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 1990.

“Roger Redman is an accomplished veterinarian who has built his own successful practices that he sold to a consolidator before working for a corporate group in a business development role. Roger has also volunteered substantial time to give back to the veterinary profession in key industry roles,” commented Rich Lester, co-CEO of Ackerman Group, in the release.

“Both his lived experience as a practice owner who sold his practice plus his relationships in the veterinary community will bring a lot of value to Ackerman Group and our clients,” he concluded.1
