Encore Vet Group appoints Lance Sprinkle as president and CEO
The former president takes on this role, as the former CEO, Ted Sprinkle, DVM, transitions to the executive chairman position.

Encore Vet Group has named Lance Sprinkle president and CEO, as former CEO Ted Sprinkle, DVM, transitions into the executive chairman role. Lance has served the past 20 years in corporate veterinary leadership roles and will offer experienced veterinary leadership as CEO.
According to a company release, Lance has also contributed to successfully directing veterinary finance, operations, and development teams. He has committed his career to helping veterinary clinics expand sustainably, and develop strong local leaders within practices. Lance’s core belief is that fostering a healthy culture through mentorship is critical to developing and nurturing successful veterinary hospitals.
“I’m thrilled to step into the Chief Executive Officer role here at Encore,” said Lance Sprinkle. “As more practice owners learn about Encore’s unique approach to veterinary ownership, I am looking forward to continuing all the good work we’ve undertaken under Ted’s leadership. The veterinary profession is so close to my heart, and I will continue to honor the tradition of leading a veterinarian-first organization.”
Former CEO Ted Sprinkle will likely remain active at Encore Vet Group and continue his work of connecting practice owners with the company.

I’ve spent the last half of my career helping hundreds of veterinary owners transition their hospitals, and I look forward to continuing the work of helping owners take the next step for their careers and practices,” said Ted.

Overall, Lance’s extensive background in veterinary finance and operations allows Encore to continuously expand rapidly and strategically in the future. In addition, his steadfast dedication to culture and mentorship will ensure that clinics continue to succeed as part of the Encore family.
