Simplifies veterinary teams' access to client education handouts through Shepherd while promoting client compliance
LifeLearn Animal Health, provider of online software solutions for veterinary practices, recently announced that ClientEd, the client education resource created to save veterinary practices time and increase pet owner compliance, is now completely integrated into Shepherd’s veterinary practice management software.
“We’re thrilled by the opportunity to partner with Shepherd,” expressed Mark Stephenson, DVM, LifeLearn’s chief veterinary officer, in a company release.1
“Our core mission has always been to provide veterinarians and their teams with the best available tools and resources to improve the health of patients. Making it easier for veterinary teams to access client education handouts through Shepherd is one more reflection of LifeLearn’s ongoing commitment to provide education and efficiency solutions to the veterinary profession.”
The integration enables Shepherd users to access and search their ClientEd library of more than 2,100 pet health handouts (ie, over 260 pet medication handouts) directly from within Shepherd.
According to the release,1 ClientEd offers professionally written, easy-to-understand handouts for pet parents. Clinics can also customize existing handout content, develop their own handouts, include patient-specific doctor’s notes, and customize handouts with practice logos.
“When pet owners have a better understanding of veterinary recommendations, they’re more likely to follow through, and a core goal of Shepherd Veterinary Software is to foster better pet health,” stated Cindy Barnes, DVM, CVSMT, founder of Shepherd. “This integration with LifeLearn furthers our success connecting our practice management software with the top veterinary tools, enabling clinic teams to practice the best possible medicine.”
