Morris Animal Foundation sponsors 13 animal health events over next year

Further promotes the foundation's mission of advancing animal care by bridging science and resources

Morris Animal Foundation will provide funding to 13 scientific symposia and conferences throughout the next year to accelerate the health and well-being of animals.

According to an organizational release,1 a host of topics will be covered at events such as species-specific scientific symposia and conferences, community-focused events, and more. This further supports the foundation’s mission to bridge science and resources to advance animal health for cats, dogs, horses, and wildlife.

“So much of our mission wouldn’t be possible without the collaboration of scientists, students and the wider community,” said Janet Patterson-Kane, BVSc, PhD, FRCVS, Morris Animal Foundation chief scientific officer, in the release.“These events give us the unique opportunity to engage with diverse groups by supporting important, collaborative scientific initiatives around the world that are in need of financial resources.”
