NAVC to host VMX Virtual 2022 Career Fair
Throughout this 2-day event, veterinary professionals can network with employers, fine-tune their resumes, interview for open positions, and acquire free CE credits.
The North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) will host its annual Veterinary Meeting & Expo (VMX) Virtual 2022 Career Fair on Monday, February 14, 2022, from 12:00 to 3:00 pm, and Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
“With such high demand for veterinary professionals worldwide, the VMX Virtual Career Fair is an ideal way for job seekers to learn more about potential career opportunities while taking advantage of professional development opportunities that will make them more marketable to hiring organizations,” said Gene O’Neill, NAVC CEO, in an organizational release.
“The NAVC is excited to utilize our robust VMX Virtual technology to create career connections that ultimately help veterinary healthcare teams thrive while leading to the wellbeing of animals everywhere,” he added.
The VMX Virtual 2022 Career Fair will spotlight opportunities for veterinarians, technicians and assistants, practice managers, retail staff, and beyond that are available at accredited veterinary organizations, independent practices, and retail operations (ie, Banfield Pet Hospital; National Veterinary Associates; Veterinary Practice Partners; and NAVC Retriever).
The career fair will take place on NAVC’s 3D, interactive VMX Virtual platform which maximizes advanced simulation technology so job seekers can browse each hiring organization’s custom-designed virtual booth and connect with recruiters as if physically there. Plus, all participants will be entered to win 1 of 4 NAVC Certifications in the Human-Animal Bond, Pet Nutrition, Therapeutic Nutrition, and Veterinary Business, according to the release.
Following the career fair, attendees will be welcomed back to VetFolio for free access to 7 CE courses specially selected to help participants advance their careers.
