Hoogeveen provides 20 years of financial experience and expertise to the team
National Veterinary Associates (NVA), a global pet care organization and community of over 1,500 veterinary hospitals and pet resorts, has appointed Luuk Hoogeveen to chief financial officer. Previously, he served as JAB Holding Company’s chief financial officer, working with all of JAB’s brands as well as NVA. He offers 2 decades of finance leadership experience, including positions at Jacobs Douwe Egberts and PwC.
“We are excited to welcome Luuk to the NVA family as we continue to grow and define the future of veterinary care. Luuk brings a significant track record in leading global finance functions and a deep understanding of our business,” expressed Greg Hartmann, CEO of NVA, in a company release.1
“Equally important, Luuk holds a profound appreciation for our mission to improve the comfort and well-being of pets. He will be a valuable member of our leadership team as we continue to execute on our growth strategy and strengthen our position as the premier global pet care community.”1
Prior to Hoogeveen, Peter McPhee was NVA’s chief financial officer. He supported NVA through a period of substantial growth and transformation. McPhee and Hoogeveen will team up through March for the best possible transition.
“Peter has been an outstanding colleague and partner, who has made numerous contributions to NVA’s success,” Hartmann added, in the release. “We are grateful for his dedication to NVA and wish him all the best in his next pursuits.”
