Pets Best Insurance reaches its 500,000th pet insured milestone
This pet insurance company just insured its 500,000th pet with hopes to grant more access to animal healthcare

Pets Best Insurance Services LLC — a Synchrony solution and U.S. pet insurance provider — announced it insured its 500,000th pet. According to an organizational release, Pets Best hopes to make companion animal healthcare more affordable with its coverage options, mobile solutions, and API technology.1
“At Pets Best we strive to give pet parents peace of mind by taking the financial worry out of owning a pet so that they can make the best decisions for their dog or cat,” said Melissa Gutierrez, senior vice president, and general manager of Pets Best, in the release.1
Pets Best aims to improve and simplify the customer experience through new technology such as the Pets Best mobile app. The app allows customers to manage their accounts, submit claims online, update payment information, add new pets to their plan, and access customer service support.1 After the increase in pet adoptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pets Best began offering curbside and virtual vet appointments coverage.
“The industry has experienced double-digit growth during the past five years and demand for digital solutions remains a priority,” said Gutierrez. “Pets Best will continue to innovate contactless and digital-first solutions that prioritize the customer experience.”1
Since its founding in 2005, the company joined the National Pet Health Insurance Association and now offers insurance and wellness plans to dogs and cats in every state.1
