The Vets – a mobile veterinary service that provides at-home pet care – announced it will expand into Los Angeles. This expansion marks the 16th city The Vets expanded into since it was founded in 2021.

“We are proud to offer a new and reimagined at-home veterinary experience that is seamless and stress-free to pet parents in Los Angeles”, said Lella Rafferty, MBA, CMO of The Vets, in an organizational release.1 “Our local team is prepared to take the stress out of vet visits and deliver the best pet care to the community.”

According to the release,1 this new location will welcome 4 new team members, including Sy Woon, DVM, with her 8 years of experience caring for the pets of Los Angeles. The Vets LA team will provide services to Marina Del Rey, Beverly Hills, Beverly Grove, Bel Air, Rancho Park, Santa Monica, Venice, Westwood, Brentwood, and Culver West. The company also has plans to expand into more neighborhoods within the upcoming weeks.

Since The Vets launched in 2021, over 27,000 appointments have been completed, giving pet parents and veterinary professionals flexibility and peace of mind. The Vets offers cats and dogs a range of treatments including wellness exams, sick care, diagnostics, etc in the comfort of the pets home.

With the addition of Los Angeles, The Vets are currently serving patients in Sacramento, Phoenix, and San Diego.
