Alyssa Mages, CVT: [The overall team evaluation] starts in the hiring process, clearly when you're doing onboarding and orientation, but what does that look like? Are you doing a physical interview or are you doing it over the phone? Are you having a one-on-one face conversation or are you actually out on the floor seeing what [the candidates] technical skills are? It may not be feasible, but really what you're looking to ensure is that you are transparent about what you can provide for your new hirer and that you follow through.
