DVM dominates GOP primary

Republican veterinarian J.A. "Doc" Hines,DVM, who is running for the 42nd Assembly District of the Wisconsin legislature,says, let the debates begin.
Hines, 74, is running against Democratic lawyer Tim Henney in the Nov.6 general election. The veterinarian defeated five other candidates in theprimary.
Hines garnered 29 percent of the Republican vote.
He believes he has established a strong rapport with the community aftertreating many of its pets and farm animals over the past 47 years.
"I think we've got enough professional politicians making our laws,"he says. "I'm willing to listen to anybody. I'll listen to both sides."
