Skechers and Petco Love gift national animal welfare organizations this Giving Tuesday

In honor of Giving Tueday, BOBS from Skechers, the philanthropic collection from The Comfort Technology Company, and national nonprofit, Petco Love, are partnering to gift 1,000 pairs of fun, pet-themed BOBS footwear to shelter employees from Petco Love’s network. According to an organizational release,¹ the gift celebrates the shelter workers’ dedication to helping pets find their forever homes.

"The support from BOBS from Skechers has been vital to fulfilling our commitment to ensure animals across the nation are getting the care they need," explains Susanne Kogut, president of Petco Love, in the release. "By sharing a token of our appreciation providing footwear, our hope is to inspire organizations who have been going the extra mile to stay the course in their mission to save pet lives every day."

The 15 recipient organizations were shelter employees who have “gone the extra mile this year to save animal lives.” The selected organizations helped animals in need including after the destruction of Hurricane Ian. They include:

• LA Animal Services

For each purchase of BOBS from Skechers shoes, apparel, and accessories, a donation is made to help save shelter animals' lives in the US through Skechers' partnership with Petco Love.
