Bill targets shortage of veterinarians in public health, underserved areas.

Ithaca, New York -- Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine is talking with county government officials and a local Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) to build an emergency animal shelter and clinic.

College Station, Texas -- The Texas Deer Association awarded Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine $50,000 in research funding for studies that will benefit the deer industry.
