September 16th 2011Madison, N.J. -- Pfizer Animal Health is voluntarily recalling one lot each of Antisedan® (atipamezole hydrochloride) Sterile Injectable Solution and Dexdomitor® (dexmedetomidine hydrochloride) Sterile Injectable Solution after it was discovered that some of these products may contain foreign particles.
Free-choice beef cattle supplements recalled due to excessive urea levels
August 8th 2011Rockville, Md. -- Ridley Block Operations initiated a voluntary recall July 29 on one lot of Purina-Lix 38 Hi-E and RangeLand® 38 Hi-E free-choice supplement tubs for beef cattle because softened product may contain excessive levels of urea.
Cargill recalls 36 million pounds of ground turkey
August 4th 2011Wichita, Kan. -- Cargill Value Added Meats Retail is voluntarily recalling about 36 million pounds of fresh and frozen ground turkey in response to an outbreak of Salmonella Heidelberg that has infected at least 77 people in 26 states.
